This Is Our God (Este Es Nuestro Dios)

Difficulties in life, noise from the world, or lies from the enemy can often blur our view of God. And when we don't see Him clearly, everything else gets out of focus as well.

But our heavenly Father has gone to great lengths to reveal Himself to us and to preserve His Word...
so that we might know Him
so that we can understand who He is
so that we can remember and trust in our God.

This is our God -

The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
  slow to anger and rich in love
The LORD is good to all;
  He has compassion on all He has made.
...The LORD is faithful to all His promises
  and loving toward all He has made.
...The LORD is near to all who call on Him,
  to all who call on Him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him;
  He hears their cry and saves them.
-Psalm 145:8-9, 13b, 18-19

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
  whose hope is in the LORD his God,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
  the sea, and everything in them--
  the LORD, who remains faithful forever.
He upholds the cause of the oppressed
  and gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets prisoners free,
  the LORD gives sight to the blind,
 the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down,
 the LORD loves the righteous.
The LORD watches over the alien
  and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
  but He frustrates the ways of the wicked.
-Psalm 146:5-9

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
-Luke 4:18-19

If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is he that condemns? Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
-Romans 8:31-39

This is the truth about who our God is. Let us hold fast to it.

El Señor es bueno con todos;

Cumple los deseos de quienes le temen;

atiende a su clamor y los salva.
-Salmos 145:8-9, 13b, 18-19

Aferrémonos a ella.
