Who Is This God? (¿Quién es este Dios?)

Psalm 103 is one of my favorite psalms. As I was reading it again lately I was so encouraged by the precious truths of who God is in my life. Sometimes I need to remember not just who the LORD is, but who He is to me personally.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits- (v. 2)

God is -

my Pardoner - He forgives all my sins and removes them from me as far as the east is from the west. (vv. 3, 12)

my Healer - He is well able to heal every disease, hurt, wound, regret, pain, and heartache! (v. 3)

my Redeemer - He has redeemed me from sin and from the pit. (vv. 4, 10)

my Benefactor - He CROWNS me with love and compassion, with blessings I could never deserve! (vv. 4, 8)

my Provider - He SATISFIES my desires with GOOD things, and He Himself is more than enough for all my needs. (v. 5)

my Restorer - He renews my youth, and He gives back so much more than I ever lost. (v. 5)

my Righteousness and Justice - He gives me His righteousness, and I can trust His faithful justice. (v. 6)

my Loving God - His love for me abounds, reaching higher than the heavens, and is with me forever! (vv. 8, 11, 17)

my Father - He knows me, and He has chosen and adopted me as His beloved child. (vv. 13-14, 17)

my Everlasting God - He is with me forever! (v. 17)

my Sovereign - He rules over ALL and I gladly submit to Him. (v. 19)

my Mighty God - the One who alone is worthy of all praise! (vv. 20-22)

Oh yes, I will praise the LORD my God with all my soul!

(vrs. 8, 11, 17)

mi Padre – Me conoce, me escogió y me adoptó como Su hijo amado. (vrs. 13-14, 17)

mi Eterno Dios - ¡Está conmigo para siempre! (v. 17)
